Waiting on Wednesday (3)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine and it allows other bloggers to see  which book releases you are highly anticipating.

NIGHTSHADE by: Andrea Cremer (October 19, 2010, Philomel)
While other teenage girls daydream about boys, Calla Tor imagines ripping out her enemies’ throats. And she wouldn’t have it any other way. Calla was born a warrior and on her eighteenth-birthday she’ll become the alpha female of the next generation of Guardian wolves. But Calla’s predestined path veers off course the moment she saves the life of a wayward hiker, a boy her own age. This human boy’s secret will turn the young pack's world upside down and forever alter the outcome of the centuries-old Witches' War that surrounds them all.

I'm really excited for this book!  It just sounds so cool and umm Alpha Female? Hell yes!

  1. SO EXCITED FOR THIS ONE!!!! Love the cover, love the blurb, love it all:) Werewolves are always interesting to me even though there's a plethora of books out there that focus on them. I never get tired of it if it's a good story!

And I couldn't agree more with your comment about Last Sacrifice. I just stared at the last page when I finished as though I could will more pages to appear:)

  2. Yup me too!! Dying to read this! I've entered like 6 contests already and lost all of them. I think I'm currently in 1 or 2 waiting to hear if I finally get lucky. Crossing my fingers!

  3. I'm dying for this one too! The cover is so gorgeous, and I've heard reviewers say that Calla is one fierce heroine! Great pick!

I'm stopping by on the Hop! Thanks so much for stopping by my site last week. I got a little behind on my hopping, but I'm catching up now! =)
