Natale Ghent's book Gravity Brings Me Down stole my (Christie's) heart this year and when a book does that I feel obligated to share it with friends. Our followers = our friends. You are the reason why we started this blog and the reason that we enjoy it so very much. The ability to share our love of books with you through this platform is a gift we treasure. Sappy, right? We know.
The month of November was dedicated to sharing one particular book by an incredibly talented writer. We would like to thank Natale once again for taking the time to answer a Q&A for us about this book and her life. If you have not had the chance to view it yet you can do so here. In this Q&A Natale asked you all what brings YOU down, and here's what you said...
Morning classes. Theft. Stupid people. People I don’t know touching me. People that are late. People that are moody. Mean people. Negative attitudes, words & energy. Judgemental people. President Obama. Lots of Homework. Lots of chores. Headaches. Indifference to suffering. Having to do chores. Wasting precious time. Traffic in the morning. Petty friends. Family stress. Winter weather. Bullies. Self-centered people. Having to study so much for school when all I can think about is simply crawling under the covers with a great book!
And now for the moment you have all been waiting for...
