Weekend Roundup

So this weekend I (Ashley) went camping. I left yesterday morning and was suppose to be there until tomorrow, but we decided to pack up and end things early. Which is fine by me; I am definitely not camping material. As I was heading to the campground, I figured I'd do a quick Twitter check to see what was happening in the world of books and tweets. Now, I'm not one to have extraordinarily good luck when it comes to winning anything. I try and I try to no avail it seems, BUT the fates and the amazing contest that Tynga had going on had other plans in store for Christie and myself. We won an ARC of Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Angel!!!!!! 


I can't even begin to explain how grateful and thankful we are to Tynga and overjoyed that we have a chance to read a book we have heard nothing but amazing things about. If you haven't read The Mortal Instruments series yet, I suggest you do so before Clockwork Angel comes out. Simply because you are missing out big time on the wonderful world, characters, dialogue and writing that Cassandra Clare has given to us. 


Once we've both had a chance to read the book, we will put up a collaborative review. 


Also at some point this week I will be posting my review of Stacia Kane's City of Ghosts.
