Teen Read Awards

Teens have been voting for the first ever Teen Read Awards for a couple of months now, but information about the big event has just recently surfaced.
The event will take place on Saturday September 25th, 2010 at Six Degrees in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada and will honour the winners of the first ever Teen Read Awards. For those attending, the red carpet will begin at 6pm and the show will start at 7pm.

Good News: There are a number of tremendous authors attending this event including Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr, Alyson Noel, Becca Fitzpatrick, and Richelle Mead, amongst others!

Good and Bad News: Tickets are available for FREE but only for attendees who will be between the ages of 11 and 18 at the time of the event. :(

For those who are between 11 and 18 years old and would like to snag a free ticket, you can find out everything you need to know here.

Unfortunately, we are too OLD to attend the event and are incredibly heartbroken about it, so this is where you come in. If you plan on attending the Teen Read Awards and are able to get your hands on a free ticket, let us know. Ideally we would like to find a few people who are attending the event to be our eyes and ears. These individuals would write a review of the night and we would share it on our blog and credit their contribution. In addition, if anyone attending the event has photos that they want to share with us to put on our blog that would be welcome as well.
